About AOBOG

The American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) is a non-profit affiliate of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and reports directly to the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists (BOS).

The AOA's primary charge to the AOBOG is to prepare and administer all examinations required for osteopathic physicians to attain certification and osteopathic continuous certification (OCC) in: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.

AOBOG MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the AOBOG is to establish and maintain a standard of excellence through the certification and osteopathic continuous certification of osteopathic physicians who practice obstetrics and gynecology and its subspecialties, thus assuring the public that the physician responsible for their healthcare has attained a quantifiable level of expertise.
